Our powerful HYDROWATT high-pressure water pumps are used, for example, in the application of hydrohammers. Driven by water hydraulics, these hammers are used to anchor (steel) piles in the seabed in the onshore and offshore sector. Filtered seawater with operating pressures of up to 415 bar is used as the pumping medium. In addition to the gas and oil industry, wind farms and other offshore plants in the renewable energy sector also benefit from the foundations that can be securely anchored with the help of our pumps. By using seawater as the pumping medium, the risk of possible environmental damage, for example caused by a burst oil hose in conventional percussion hammer systems based on oil hydraulics, is also reduced.
