About us / History

We are a medium-sized mechanical engineering company headquartered in Schaffhausen, Switzerland, and a member of the Swiss Association of Mechanical, Electrical and Metal Industries SWISSMEM.

Our focus is on the development, production and distribution of innovative high-pressure pumps as well as complete systems based on the patented HYDROWATT technology. For more than 30 years, we have been supplying industrial customers with reliable high-pressure piston pumps for applications up to 415 bar in standard configuration and up to 600 bar on request for special solutions. With a flow rate range of 20 to 800 liters/min (drive power up to 600 kW) per pump unit.

Typical applications for us include steel descaling with high-pressure water in hot rolling mills, water-hydraulic press drives in the steel and non-ferrous metals industry, and pressurized water generation in underground coal mining. However, a large number of other users also utilize our significant technology advantages for their requirements.

In 1989, our HYDROWATT system was awarded a prize in a national technology competition in which numerous well-known projects from industry, colleges and universities were among the competitors.

In May 2009, we were once again one of the winners of the Innovation Award of the Industrie- und Wirtschaftsvereinigung Region Schaffhausen (IVS).
